Let Your Light Shine

hey guys! so I was doing my devotional this morning, and I thought I might share it with you guys. so I was reading in Corinthians 4:4-6 where it says, "In whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bondservants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, 'Light shall shine out of the darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." As I was reading this I realized that Satan really has blinded unblievers and tries his hardest to keep them from the light. And we as Christians are the light that those unbelievers see. We are the body of Christ and if we dont reach out to those unbelievers who will? The Bible says in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." We shouldnt be afraid of what the world thinks. Satan is the god of this world and if we are afraid to shine for Christ then we have let our fear of this world to overcome us. If we are afraid of this world and satan is the god of this world that means we are afraid of what satan can do to us. When we have God, the creator of us all, and the strongest power on our side. the Bible says, "For He is with me who can be against me?" and I think we dont always realize that He is with us always. So today my question is are you afraid of what the world thinks? Or are you the total Jesus freak who isnt ashamed to scream it to the world? luv you guys! <3
