OM GOODNESS!!! SUNSETS! 8)

sunsets! Man God has been blessing us with such beautiful susets lately! I am so thankfull! Sunset is like my favorite time of the day! Well besides early dawn. Its just soo b-e-a-utiful! With all the colors and contrast. I live near the mountain so the sunset behind the mountain is just breath taking! The sky looks as if it were paited by like thomas kinkade or davince! But really it was painted by a more skilled painter then them all! The most artistic being there is. Drum roll please... God! lol

Let Your Light Shine

hey guys! so I was doing my devotional this morning, and I thought I might share it with you guys. so I was reading in Corinthians 4:4-6 where it says, "In whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bondservants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, 'Light shall shine out of the darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." As I was reading this I realized that Satan really has blinded unblievers and tries his hardest to keep them from the light. And we as Christians are the light that those unbelievers see. We are the body of Christ and if we dont reach out to those unbelievers who will? The Bible says in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." We shouldnt be afraid of what the world thinks. Satan is the god of this world and if we are afraid to shine for Christ then we have let our fear of this world to overcome us. If we are afraid of this world and satan is the god of this world that means we are afraid of what satan can do to us. When we have God, the creator of us all, and the strongest power on our side. the Bible says, "For He is with me who can be against me?" and I think we dont always realize that He is with us always. So today my question is are you afraid of what the world thinks? Or are you the total Jesus freak who isnt ashamed to scream it to the world? luv you guys! <3

Purity

Purity. It's something that is very precious and taken very lightly in our generation. In our world you hear about girls getting pregnant before they're even an adult. They even have a show about this called: 16 and Pregnant. The world says to do whatever makes you feel good, but do they talk about the repercussions? Me and my mom were discussing this the other day when we heard something said about this on the radio. One of the speakers on this radio braodcast said, "Why do we tell them not to have sex? I mean its fun." And this made me think, "What has our world come to?" Purity is something special. You should save yourself for your future husband or wife. I have made an oath to be abstinate and wait for my husband. I wear my purity ring with pride. Knowing that I have made a promise to myself and my future husband. The Jonas Bothers anounced that they wear purity rings and many girls have done the same because of it. My question is do they really mean to stay pure or are they just wearing the ring because of the Jonas Brothers? If you wear the ring that means you have made a promise and you plan on keeping that promise. It is'nt something that you can take lightly. The Bible says in Phillipians 4:8," Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if any worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." FAITH!

Ok so today I was on Google, and I was looking up words that meant something to me. Words like: love, hope, dreams, destiny, and some other inspirational words. And while I was looking I thought about faith. The word poped into my head and I started thinking. What really is faith? In Matthew 17:20 it says, "And he said to them, 'Becasue of your littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you."(NASB)I mean how crazy would that be?! If you told a mountain to move and it did, and all it takes a little faith. The dictionary has about 8 different definitions of the word faith, but there were two that really caught my eye. The first is: faith is trust in God and His promises as made through Christ and the scriptures by which humans are justified or saved. The second is: faith is the belief in anyting, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, and so on. These definitions have totally different content. One is the Christian outlook and the other is what the world sees faith to be. When I think of faith the first thing that pops into my head is my faith in my Savior, but I also think of my friends. I put alot of faith in my friends that i can trust them and that they'll be there for me in any sircustance. I have faith that my friends will stop me from doing something that will hurt me or others. There are so many things that we have faith in that we dont even realize. Faith that we're going to make it through the night, that our friends and family will almost always be there for us. Just take the time to think about what faith is to you and what you have faith in. and post a comment telling me what you have faith in or what it is to you. I love you guys!

LOCK IN!!!!

Last night was so much fun! Ok so my youthgroup did this party called a Lock In. so we go to the church at 6pm friday night and can't leave until 6am saturday, and you can;t sleep or else you would get pranked! It was such a blast from like 6 to 8:45 we had water games then we played footbal, then it was feeding time. After we finished eating we talked about god and the ministry. Then we played another game that I don't even know if it has an official name. hahaha My friend katie came up with it.... I think. Well gtg have a God blessed day!!! lovelovelove

HEY!!! 8))

HEY BLOGGERS!How's life? Mine's great!!! On Monday my mom, my grandma, and I had a girls day. It was alot of fun! We went up to Sumner and went to my mom's new favortie place to eat. It's called Dairy Freeze. It's like an old fashion drive in burger place, or at least that's the best I can describe it. haha. They have the most amazing burgers and onion rings!YUMMMMMMM!!! After we finished eating our delicious, fattening food we walked around and explored all the little shops. The only bad thing about going on Monday was that alot of stores were closed on Mondays and were only open Tuesday through Saturday. 8( Oh well. Just means we have to go back on a Tuesday. haha. Oh ya! We also went and played put put golf at the putting zoo in Puallup. That was pretty fun. I did really bad at the begging! haha. But as we went on I actually did pretty good! When we finished my mommy ended up being the winner, I recieved second, and my grandma was in last place. After we had done all that we were pretty exhausted. So we finally went home. My mom and I didnt get home until 8:00 pm. That made my mom a little upset that we got home so late because we hadn't walked the dogs in a while. Since it was so late, we went a nother night without waking our poor puppies. 8(
